WELCOME FROM OUR BASILEUS
Brothers of Gamma Nu Nu, Omega, Family and Friends,
I bring you Greetings in the name of the Supreme Basileus of the universe and as Basileus of the Gamma Nu Nu Chapter (GNN). As a part of our growing electronic footprint, and with ever-changing technological advancements, I am proud to welcome you to our new website. This site will be your one-stop-shop for all things GNN, and I encourage you to visit us often. Please note that you may also find links to our various social media platforms throughout the website, as we continually look for ways to keep you informed and abreast of our upcoming and ongoing events/initiatives.
The GNN chapter was established on July 11, 2019. The purpose of the Gamma Nu Nu Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. shall be to create a union of college and United States Armed Forces men in the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst area who are achieving the goals of the four Cardinal Principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
Our administration will be looking to our previous administration for transition and guidance as we intend to continue to build upon our successes, improving our overall communication, fellowship, mentorship, fundraising, and retention. Our main focus for this term will be community service and increasing our presence on base and in the surrounding community.
Thanks to all the women in my life: My mother, my hero and my first love, for her strength, patience and guidance. My wife Karla for her love, encouragement and support, and my daughter for her love, perspective and being my reason for being. For a long time, I’ve said my sister made me believe in love at first sight, but my wife and daughter reinforced it.

Thanks to Brother District Representative and Brother Corridor Representative for their unwavering support of our chapter. In addition, I want to thank Brother 1st Vice District Representative for his friendship and our current Grand Basileus Ricky Lewis for our weekly check ins.
I dedicate my term as Basileus to The Honorable Brother Dallas Thompson Sr. and his family, The Honorable Brother Paul F. Barone and his family and all of our brothers whose shoulders we stand on that built the bridge to bring us to where we are now.
The Basileus is a position of service, not a position that should expect to be served. I was taught about humility in all things, and therefore, no brother or opinion is greater than the chapter and we must work together. If one brother can’t do something or make an event, the chapter must still get the job done. We’ve all taken slack. We know about 8 vs 80. We are our brothers keeper. We may be fans of different sports teams, but at the end of the day, we all love the only real TEAM that matters. GNN will be the epitome of Members vs. Men and the term being “OWT”, which I choose to use as an acronym for Omega Working Tirelessly.
